even though this is a vintage item, it is perfectly usable. wash it with some warm, soapy water and you're good to go. it works great if kept inside a plastic container of sugar or flour. it can make measuring out recipe amounts super-easy.
tell your child or grand-child this is "their" cup--they can help cook and learn how to measure. or, maybe they even wanna drink their water from it and "dip it" like the old days from a cold container of water.
i found this adorable piece of history out in the middle of kansas. in a small antique store, it was behind some other things on a high shelf. it was a little farming town. this cup was probably used to make a lot of homemade pies for the church potlucks.
this is possibly something from the 1950s.
vintage item, as-is (the photos show that it is in good condition for its age, with the normal wear and tear and tiny dings/scratches typical in aluminum items)
