"the rescuers" is one of those charming, powerful movies, filled with lovable characters like penny, bernard, and miss bianca.
this vhs tape and its original clamshell-style plastic case are from our home's collection, bought movie-by-movie for our oldest two children, now 30 and 31.
the tape and case are in very good condition. the case looks terrific. the only wear and tear shows along the top edge and corners.
these are vintage items, so they are sold as-is. but i think you'll be pleased. i am super honest about condition, erring on the side of over-stating things.

note: since i took these photos, my husband finally found our last remaining vcr in the basement storage room. so now, the tape is officially re-wound.
these "black diamond" disney tapes are becoming harder to find. they are in demand with collectors. i priced our tape toward the low end of typical prices, hoping to sell quickly and to make some money to apply toward our third child's college expenses.
the prices go up and down, according to the market and demands and past sales prices. a disney expert places this tape's current value at a whopping $2,500 for this original movie when partnered as a set with its sequel, "the rescuers down under."
i hope some collector will be ecstatic. but if you're a re-seller, i believe you can still make a chunky profit.
