because i was born in the 1960s, this version of the story will always be one of my childhood favorites. i can hear all the different characters' voices in my head. this particular movie is so classic that it truly stands the test of time. with both humor and drama, it is just right for kids (and grown-ups).

if you love collecting movies, this is, of course, one of the "bare necessities of life." this movie is from our personal collection, bought movie-by-movie for our two oldest children, who are now 30 and 31. we're not hoarders, but even through all our many family moves, we kept these movies. we had no idea they'd someday become collectible copies.
this vhs tape and its clamshell case are in very, very good condition. the only small issue: the case shows a bit of wear and tear at the top center.
as a vintage item, it comes as-is. but for its age, it looks great. i will guarantee that i over-state any issues as a matter of integrity. i want customers to know/see the specifics.

i priced my collectible vhs tapes according to condition and toward the lower end of the range of prices i researched. any re-seller should be able to make plentyy of additional profit. if you're a collector, congratulations! you just found a bargain.
