take a deep breath. i'll let you in on a secret...
this pillow's department store list price? a whopping $59.99!
nope. i would never pay that. you either?
but that price does indicate this pillow's quality.
i shop many sources for good deals and do my best to pass on those to you.
this pillow is solid navy. it's like a heavy-duty canvas fabric crossed with blue denim, not exactly the same as either, but somewhat like both. the fabric is durable, heavyweight cotton with a slight weave to it.
the super-fancy triple rows of fringe on each side add a classy style. yet, with the solid, neutral navy, it also stays simple and not fussy.
the pillow is well-stuffed and solid, yet still soft. it will retain its shape over time, but not feel stiff or uncomfortable.
it is very, very well-made. the fabric is sturdy. the fringe is well-sewn and thick. it is a quality product (thus that high price tag in the department store).
the color works for a child's room, master bedroom, guest bedroom, teen's bedroom, or dorm room. it's perfect for a blue-loving girl's room.
this pillow would work for any season or decor. ideas:
-if you add a white or blue vase or red candle nearby, it creates a beautiful fourth of july patriotic look;
-add some yellow and floral patterns near it and you transition into spring, without looking overly feminine with all pastels and flowers;
-some beige and white accents will create a nautical color theme (great for a nautical-themed nursery or child's room);
-if you put this in a girl's room and want things more feminine, adding some pink and yellow with this will look beautiful;
-add checked, striped, or floral throw pillows with it for a warm, cozy look.
the back of the pillow is plain navy.
