very, very rare! this is a first aladdin paperbacks edition/1991.
because this particular book looks like any normal paperback and looks brand-new, you wouldn't guess it's quite special. this edition is hard to come by. most of the time, sites show "currently not available."
the cover shows the tiny differences from the other three versions. the top banner varies. the lower photo varies, and the "young writer" banner is different from other editions.
but you have to know this and look ever-sooooo-closely.
this book has no issues with any markings, bent corners or pages, or condition. it is obviously used, but it is in great shape. it has no musty smell.
aladdin paperbacks/1991 and with this version in hardback called the "library binding."
i've only seen two of these for sale. one cost $279.62. the other sold for $237.57.
