our oldest daughter can do a darned good australian accent, mostly thanks to watching this movie, over and over and over...

in this wonderful classic, bernard and miss bianca go to the outback to help cody save an eagle from poachers. it's sweet. it's dramatic. the story still holds up today.

this vhs tape and its clamshell-style plastic case are from our personal home collection, bought movie-by-movie for our two oldest children, who are now official adults at ages 30 and 31.

the tape and case are in so-so vintage condition. the case looks a bit crushed in places and in rougher shape at the top right-hand corner. the colors and front/back look great.

because this is a vintage tape and case, they are sold as-is. but if anything, i over-state condition issues.

please click on each photo in order to check out the condition for yourself.

note:  since taking these photos, my hubby rummaged through storage boxes and found our lone surviving vcr. so, the video tape is now re-wound.

i researched prices for this same collectible vhs tape. i am pricing ours at what i think is a very fair number, leaving enough room for any re-seller to still make a profit. (or making a collector giddy to find a good deal...)

the "black diamond" movies are obviously collectible and becoming harder to find. you will see online prices all over the place. this particular tape and the original, "the rescuers," happen to be some of the higher-value movies. the two-tape set is currently valued by a disney expert at $2,500.

when this arrives at your house, it'll be a g'day, mate!
