this farmhouse-style rolling pin came from an antique store in the middle of missouri farmland. you can tell it's been used for many years. it's well-made and ready-to-go for today's baking job.
the rolling pin appears a bit longer and more narrow than the typical rolling pin, made to roll out a wide swath of dough and especially easy to work back and forth.
the center wood is a lighter tone of natural to medium colored wood. you can see some of the wood grain. the handles are an extra pretty deep, bright red, each end with three extra lines made into the wood to look more decorative. if you just glance at the rolling pin, it reminds you of the nostalgic colors of hot dogs.
this rolling pin would blend in with vintage holiday decor in your kitchen, the red handles adding a beautiful touch for valentine's day, the 4th of july, or christmas.
both handles still turn smoothly. the only condition issue is one handle's paint looks more worn than the other handle, plus has some places of what looks like black paint.
