sometimes called a "flipper" or a "turner," this smaller-sized vintage spatula is so cute...and so handy. the size works great for pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, hamburger patties, chicken, or other yummy foods.

the slotted spatula (another name) features five rows of two side-by-side rectangles. the beige, plastic handle has a hanging hole.

one more name:  the small blade slotted spatula uses stainless steel. on the back side of the handle, the turner has a stainless steel "curl" at the end of the stainless steel part, where it meets the plastic part of the handle. this is to hold it on the lip of a pan.

i believe this is one of the ekco products made in the 1970s. i couldn't find another one just like it online.

ekco products have held up over time, made with top-quality. this spatula is securely riveted to the handle.

ekco began way back in the later 1800s. the company founder was an austrian immigrant and opened the first factory in chicago, over time branching out to nearly a dozen usa locations.

this small turner's plastic handle shows some spots of contact with hot pans. the front part of the handle only shows two tiny imperfections. the back of the handle, where it probably rested on the edge of a pan, shows several indentions, where the plastic melted a tiny bit. since this product was made before today's safety standards, use extra caution if you plan on using it.

the spatula would make pretty vintage wall decor in a farmhouse kitchen.

please hand-wash, since this is a vintage product. i would not recommend putting it into the dishwasher, just to play it safe.

size:  just over 11" long, with the spatula head 2-3/8" wide and 3-1/2" long

vintage item, as-is (the photos show the product, so please look through those)
