this lovely hardcover book is full of charm and history. the photos, illustrations, and paintings would be a great way for homeschooling families to study american history.
because the book was published in 1955, it only covers presidents george washington through dwight d. eisenhower.
the book includes an introduction, individual information about each president, a chronology of the presidents, facts about the presidents, presidential election info for 1789-1952, acknowledgements, credits and references, and an index.
though it is missing its dust jacket, the book is nearly perfect. the only real flaw in an inkpen inscription inside its first blank page that says "ruby hausbus 1962."
