this bea-u-ti-ful, homemade baby blankie is so special. the bright pink is more modern-looking than traditional baby pink.
it's made by a grandma artisan who lives in the ozark mountains. she also donates her handiwork for bereaved families and those in need.
this blanket is created using the floret stitch and finished off with an extra-fancy spade border. the floret stitch makes a somewhat "solid" look and an especially lovely texture.
imagine wrapping up this for a baby shower and all the oohs and ahhs when mommy opens this! even better: imagine wrapping up your sweet baby or grandbaby in this soft blankie and keeping her nice and warm.
i photographed the blanket in different lights, hoping to capture its truest hue. each computer is different, however. the color, best described, is not at all coral-toned. it is definitely all pink, but the brightest pink, with pure-white trim.
the yarn is acrylic and safe for babies, hypo-allergenic, and extra-durable.
the blanket is machine-washable. it's recommended to place flat for drying.
