this toy is great for improving coordination and motor skills. work on language skills as your child grows by working with her or him on age-appropriate questions: what color is this block? what is this shape? count the blocks together. soon, you will hear your little one counting all on his or her own.
other ideas:
-teaching concepts, like "in" and "out." (example: can you put two blocks in the wagon? can you take out one block from the wagon?)
