this shorter-sized, extra sturdy kitchen tool is well-used, with the handle showing years of usage and yet, still in beautiful, functional condition.

besides cutting noodles, pastry, or cookies, the rolling cutter could tenderize meat and maybe help prepare game meat for making jerky.

i only found one other tool for sale like this online. i couldn't find the patent shown online, but a similar patent was shown as a "meat tenderer" in 1938 and revised in 1940.

this rounded-handle, heavyweight vintage kitchen cutter is marked with its patent number, 2189957.

the sharp blades turn separately from one another as you roll the tool.

please hand-wash this vintage kitchen tool in hot, soapy water. do not place in the dishwasher to avoid rusting the stainless steel blades or damaging the wood handle.

you could re-stain the wood handle if you wanted to restore the color. i would suggest wood stain or even shoe polish.

please be very, very cautious using and washing this kitchen tool. the teeth are sharp. also:  please make sure no little ones try to use this tool.

size:  just over 7" long, with the head's blades about 2.5" wide, and the wood handle's end more than 1" diameter

vintage item, as-is (please look through the photos)
