Regular price $1.99 Sale

this set is missing our 45th and 46th u.s. presidents. maybe your home-schoolers would enjoy making their own cards of president trump and president biden to add to the set.

the 44 presidential cards give important information about each president. it shows their vice-president, their political party, their state, when/where they were born and died, their occupation, their religion, their education, their spouse, and other facts and achievements.

they feature gorgeous artwork/photo on one side.

ideas for home-schoolers:

- you can work with your children to learn about each president individually, one per week (allowing some weeks off to fill up a year). this gives time to fully study each one.

- link this presidential study with related units about washington d.c., mount rushmore, government branches, the declaration of independence, the constitution, and the bill of rights.

- figure out interesting facts, like:  which presidents were related to each other? which presidents served multiple terms? which president was the tallest, the shortest, the thinnest, and the heaviest? who was president when each of your family members was born?

- make up a game, creating cards asking questions about facts you've learned.

- it's a fun way to celebrate presidents' day or to accompany the study of the election process.

- see if younger ones want to arrange the presidents by little groups who look alike, just for fun.

it includes four bonus cards, with photos and information about the white house, the washington monument, the lincoln memorial, and the jefferson memorial.

this set is intended for ages six and older, but younger ones can listen to the facts and probably remember more than most adults.
