since i was born in 1963--the same year president john f. kennedy was assassinated--i have always been interested in books about him. this beautiful, thick hardback book, kennedy, is written by theodore c. sorensen, special counsel to the late president.
i found this lovely edition in a small antique store in a very small town in kansas.
the book is divided into five parts, covering john f. kennedy as the emerging kennedy, his candidacy, his presidency, the president and the nation, and the president and the world.
it includes a prologue, an epilogue, appendices, acknowledgements, and an index.
the book has the dust jacket. both the dust jacket and the book are in excellent condition, the only condition perhaps being a yellowing of pages due to the age and a torn, but intact tear on the back of the dust jacket's lower left corner.
i'm including a large number of photos, so that you can see the book for yourself. please look carefully through these photos.
